GST billing & accounting · India
Bill the customer in front of you
No signal in the shop. No signal in the godown. It does not matter — KVN Billing writes the invoice to your phone, not to somebody’s server. GST splits itself, stock moves, the ledger posts. When the network comes back, it all syncs. Your customer never waited.
Rs. 499 / Yearly * GST applicable
Built for the Indian counter
The bill cannot wait for the network
Most billing apps are cloud-only. One bar of signal and the save button spins while your customer stands there with cash in hand. We put the database on the phone instead. Everything — the invoice, the GST split, the stock, the ledger — happens on the device in the time it takes to press Save. The cloud is where the copy goes afterwards, not where the work happens.
Features
Built from watching people bill
Every one of these came from a real problem at a real counter — not from a competitor’s feature list.
Offline GST invoicing
Put the phone in aeroplane mode and raise a full tax invoice. The number comes from your own series, kept on the device, so it never skips and never repeats. Sync pushes it up whenever signal returns.
Nine document formats
A credit note is not an invoice with the heading swapped, and we do not print it that way. Tax invoice, credit and debit notes under Section 34, purchase bill, quotation, proforma, challan, purchase order and receipt — nine documents, nine correct layouts.
Double-entry accounting
Not a summary that looks like accounts. Every invoice, payment and expense posts a real double-entry. Trial balance, P&L and balance sheet come out on demand, and they tally — hand them to your CA without an apology.
OCR scan to bill
Photograph the supplier’s bill. The app reads the name, GSTIN, bill number, date and amounts, then offers to match them to suppliers and items you already have. Nothing saves until you have checked it — it reads the bill, you approve it.
Barcode generator & scanner
Loose items with no barcode? Generate one and print it as a sticker in any of five label sizes. The scanner holds a read for a full second before accepting it, so a half-caught number never lands in a bill.
GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B
The workbook is built from bills you already raised — B2B and B2C split the way the return wants them, HSN totalled, input credit worked out. Upload it yourself or send it to your accountant. No re-typing anything into a spreadsheet.
Stock & inventory
Stock moves when the bill saves, not when you remember to update it. Closing quantity and value per item, and a warning when something drops below the level you set — before the customer asks for it and you have none.
WhatsApp & email
Most customers want the bill on WhatsApp. Send the PDF from the document screen in two taps, or email it, or print it — same file, whichever they ask for.
E-way bill JSON
The portal rejects a file for reasons it will not explain. Ours is built to match a file it has already accepted, byte for byte — transporter, vehicle, distance and both addresses carried from the invoice. Save it and the app opens the portal for you.
GSTIN verify & auto-fill
Type the GSTIN once. Registered trade name, address and state come back and fill themselves in. The check digit is verified before we even ask, so a mistyped number is caught at the counter — not by your customer’s accountant three weeks later.
Google & mobile OTP sign-in
One tap with the Google account already on the phone, or an OTP to your mobile number. Username and password still work if you prefer them. Nobody should need a new password to open their own books.
Encrypted backups
The file is encrypted on your phone before it goes anywhere, so what sits on our server is something we cannot open. Logo and signature travel inside it — restore on a new phone and your invoices look exactly as they did.
Financial year switching
Switch to last year and every report follows. Balance-sheet accounts carry forward, income accounts start fresh — the way the year is actually supposed to close, without a migration or a second file.
Multi-company & users
Two firms on one phone, with nothing shared between them — separate books, separate numbering, separate letterhead. Give staff a login that bills but cannot open the accounts or raise a credit note.
A4, A5 & 4-inch thermal
A4 for the file and the email, A5 for a compact GST invoice, 4-inch thermal for the counter roll. Each is drawn for its own paper, not shrunk to fit. You are asked before every preview, with your usual size already picked.
Roadmap
Not built yet. Saying so.
Three things people ask for that we do not have. They are on this page because you should know what is missing before you pay, not after. Everything above this line is in the app today.
Automatic payment reminders
Overdue bills chase themselves on WhatsApp and SMS, on a schedule you set. The moment a payment is recorded the chasing stops — nobody gets a reminder for money they have already paid.
Web access with real-time sync
The same books on a shop laptop, a home desktop and the counter phone at once. Raise a bill downstairs and it is on the office screen before you have put the phone down.
One-click payment links
Send a link with the bill. The customer pays by UPI, card or net banking, and the receipt posts itself against that invoice when the money lands — no matching payments by hand at the end of the week.
No dates, deliberately. A dated roadmap is a promise and a missed date is a broken one. Ring us and ask where any of these stands — you will get a straight answer, including “we have not started” if that is the truth.
